Clutha is situated on our East coast and has deep rivers and many deserted beaches with friendly communities, who main industry is farming.
 
The Catlins are along our wild Southern Coast and where you can enjoy beautiful Waterfalls and wild and raw beaches offering the opportunity to see tryue New Zealand coastal wildlife and in a word a world and untouched paradise. The Green Lush forest have a charm all of their own and is what the locals call the Catlins, the jewel of the region. There are numerous walking tracks to enjoy and explore.
 
Nugget Point is located nearer Dunedin and here you can see our our Rare Yellow Eyed Penguins in their natural habitat along with Fur Seals and Hooker Sea Lions as well as  Sea Elephants. Whilst at Nugget Point take the opportunity to visit lighthouse, access by the walking track situated at the end of a high cliff for a great photo opportunity. If you are lucky to see a Sunset or Sunrise this is an additional spectacle.
 
Visit the Petrified forest, over a 160 Million years in the making and wonderful experience to remember.
 
In the Historical Town of Lawrence is where you can try your hand at some Gold Panning in this original old Gold Mining Town or choose to visit beauty of Kaka Point.
 
Those who wish to cycle can enjoy the challenge of Cycling the Clutha Gold Trail, which can be a 2 day easy cycling and enjoyable experience, which winds its way through this beautiful region that is perfect also for those who like to Hike and Fish.
